Snowfall — Season 5

Snowfall traces the crack epidemic’s arrival in 1980s Los Angeles through the neighborhoods it transformed. Season five pushes the story into 1986 — bigger money, bigger stakes, and a city visibly changing around the characters.

Working on location across Los Angeles, the art department rebuilt the mid-eighties block by block: storefronts, interiors, vehicles, and signage tuned to a specific year of a specific city, photographed in the same streets where the history happened.
