American Auto lives inside Payne Motors, a fictional legacy carmaker lurching into the future. The comedy needed believable product: concept vehicles, prototypes, and showroom pieces that could pass for the output of a real Detroit design studio.

As Vehicle Art Director, Yohannes led the design of the show’s automotive world — vehicles conceived, rendered, and built for camera, each one calibrated to be plausible enough to sell the joke.
